Title: A Rookwood History of Chemistry : Notes from the Oesper Collections, No. 7, April 2011
Author: Jensen, William B.
Description: A description with illustrations of the unique ceramic drinking fountain, made of one-of-a-kind faience tiles manufactured by the famous Rookwood Pottery Company, located inside the main entrance to the building now known as "Old Chemistry." The fountain was a gift to the University from the Senior Engineering Class of 1921 and is designed to symbolically embody, when read from top downwards, the evolution of modern chemistry.
