| Description: | This is a fold out map that was once part of a larger atlas. Evidence of this is apparent from the adheredstubbing on the back of the map's fold. Also, printed page numbers 50 and 51 are located in the upper foreedge corners. Other copies of the map have been digitized and can be viewed online. This online version appears to be digitally enhanced with white paper tones andbright hand coloring. The digital online copy at LUNA within the David Rumsey Map Collection is adepiction of a "true to life" color balance and shows the map within a binding. This website describes themap as a lithograph. Examination under magnification reveals the Public Library's copy to most likely be anetching. |
