dc.description |
This scrapbook was received by the Preservation Lab for stabilization and rehousing. Both boards are detached and the textblock consists of very acidic paper. Throughout the textblock, ephemera has been pinned to the leaves with small, metal straight pins. The straight pins were removed throughout the textblock. The detached materials were housed in polyester l‐sleeves. Items that were originally pinned to the textblock in groups were grouped within the l‐sleeves, while items that were pinned individually received individual l‐sleeves. All l‐sleeved items and the original scrapbook were housed in a custom corrugated clamshell. The pins are maintained with the paper copy of the treatment documentation. |
